[SOLVED] GTX 980 power requirement

My power supply has Dual Rail 12V combined power of 36Amps (18A+18A) =432W (80+certified) Brand: FSP

I can't buy PSU right now..In my country High Wattage power supplies are very expensive and over priced

Is that enough for Asus Strix GTX 980 to play games in stock speed ? or should I go for a GTX 970

I don't want to over clock it

My other system specs Core i5-4590 +B85 motherboard+ 2xSATA HDD+ 1x120mm LED Fan+1x80mm normal cooling fan+1xOptical drive

FSP what model? You need a decent 550w. And usually at least two 6 pin PCIE conections. Sometimes a 6 and 8 pin.

It's just a budget model PSU "FSP Hexa+ 550W" that I used with my older GPU Sapphire R9 280..I know Hexa is not a good one..but right now I have no option 😩
