GTX 980 Questions

Hey guys, I'm thinking about upgrading to a new Video Card so I?'ll be able to enjoy the maximum potential of Fallout 4, Battlefront etc. I'm having a helluva hard time trying to decide which model to get, I'm pretty much dead set on the EVGA GTX980, but there are 9 different models available, I'm leaning towards the THIS one, I've never purchased a card where there are so many options available, with that being said I just want to make sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

My recommendation is to buy whichever is cheapest and also has an aftermarket cooler. Personally, I'm not a fan of reference cards as the fan can get loud and it doesn't do a particularly good job.

It has a better cooler, higher clock speed out of the box, and overclocks well if needed.

I really like the one you linked.

1. It is a factory overclocked superclock version which will be a bit faster with a factory guaranteed overclock.
2. The titan blower cooler will send heat directly out the back of the case.

The card you linked has a dvi output.

If your psu does not have two 6 pin pcie power leads, odds are it does not have sufficient power to drive them.
Using molex to pcie 6 pin adapters is not recommended for substandard power supplies.
Probably a 520w psu is the minimum you need.
Exactly what make/model is your psu?

What's the rest of your PC spec? We can calculate an overall TDP and recommend a PSU based on that.

PSU is a Rosewill CAPSTONE 750, I just can't remember if it has 2 of the 6 pin PCIe leads, I'll have to pull the side off to double check. In regards to the DVI adapter I'm running dual monitors and neither of them have Displayport's.
