Hi
I have Gtx 980 ti hydro copper with radiator. My gpu temperature goes on 88 c is on Valorant.
Is this temperature fine or not?

Solution
88c on a liquid cooled GPU is not normal, if it were to be a founders edition or an EVGA FTW card then that’s “ok” but still too hot for most cards.

Check your water pump that is flowming water to your GPU, or check the water block to see that water is flowing through the block, and make sure it’s screwed down evenly cause if not it can cause many hot spots within the GPU.

Also do not run your GPU for this long at that temp range you can cause further damage to the card and it can’t be fixed, like my 970 it died due to overheating.

Please make sure you check on your custom water loop, make sure all fittings are tight, make sure there is correct amount of water within the tank, make sure the pump is working as well, and again look at...

Thanks for your reply.
Please tell me how much quantity I put.
I am using distilled water that is ok for that.
Actually I’m not to sure how much amount you need for water cooling as I’ve never experienced in custom loops. After doing some research it appears that you can fill up all the way depending on your tank size, but best to just fill it up close to the lid and not touching it.

Distilled water is fine within water cooling, there are other options like using some special type of liquid coolant for custom water loops, but distilled water is fine just make sure it’s clean. Even so custom loops are suppose to come with these special stuff were it prevent corrosion and bacterial growth (from research.)

Maybe someone here in these forums who has experience in custom liquid cooling will give you better advice since I only have experience with AIO coolers that are already preinstalled...

One more thing I have to tell you I am using. EVAG version and thermaltake radiator.
I fill up radiator but after 10 to 15 mins temp reaches 70+ but it’s only when i playing games and on normal use everything is fine
