GTX580 running worse than my HD6750 - why?

you'll need to overclock your 955 to 3.8ghz at least

Phenom IIx4 955 need not be overclocked to 3.8ghz........i am running a gtx 670 with my phenom IIx4 955 BE on stock and IT DOES NOT BOTTLENECK MY CARD
and i guess gtx 670 is more powerful than the gtx 580,isn't it?

it would benefit from overclocking (with a 7970)

Ok.....I thought it wasn't a bottleneck due to the same results as tomshardware....btw I am loving my purchase but my phenom is really old and I had already ordered the i5 3750k.......so was just playing around with both of them......
