I don't know if it is bad practice to hook my 8 pin and 6 pin(with extra 2 pins dangling) off the same PCI-E cable both to the same GPU (GTX 770). I have only 600W PSU (CX600M) which is bronze 80+ certified, but I'm still not sure if this is bad practice or if I don't have enough power.
It would really help me if I could only use the one PCI-E cable into both slots. I just don't wanna fry anything on my new/first/expensive build!
