Hi. I'm new on this site so i'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I want help with something. I want to upgrade my video card (actually i haven't one, i have intel hd graphics) to this one VGA GIGABYTE NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX960 GV-N960WF2OC-4GD 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E (it costs 244 euros, is it a good price?) and i want to ask if i should upgrade my PSU as well.

My PC specs:
Motherboard: ASUS B85M-E RETAIL
CPU: INTEL CORE I7-4770 3.4GHz LGA1150
RAM: KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
SSD: KINGSTON 60GB SATA3
DVD: SAMSUNG DVD-RW SH-224BB
HDD X3 : WESTERN DIGITAL WD20EZRX 2TB CAVIAR GREEN SATA3
PSU: CORSAIR CX500 - 80 PLUS BRONZE CERTIFIED 500W
Also, i have on the CPU a DEEPCOOL KILLER WHALE for cooling.

Maybe some of them are not needed, but i am not an expert so i posted them all. Thanks in advance.

Solution
The CX series psus just don't usually last very long compared to the average psu. I would not be in a hurry to replace it though as it's not a threat to your other parts.
Im from greece. When you say its not reliable do you mean not reliable as brand or model? or 500w not reliable?
The main reason i want to upgrade is gaming. What i care the most is not so much the graphics but the fps. At the time i run most of my games if not all at 30-40 fps. What card would you suggest me to buy with these specs?

That specific model psu is not known for lasting very long under heavy usage. It would probably by fine for a while though. It is not a fire hazard like many cheap psus are.

Is there an online shop you can shop from or are you buying in person at a local shop?

I think by "not reliable" CTurbo means that the "CX" series of PSU from Corsair isn't really made for heavy use such as gaming. You can follow the PSU tier list from Tom's Hardware to know which are good power supplies to buy. As you can see, CX series is Tier four. I don't have enough knowledge on this subject to tell you what exactly is "wrong" about your PSU though :\

I buy from an online greek shop. Its like a "warehouse" that only do deliveries. You cant go there and purchase something from the shop. I have this pc for 3 years now as it is. How much do you think the psu will last? Because if its little time then i will wait to buy a new psu too.

^ can suffer premature capacitor aging under constant heavy load & high temps.
So long as you're not in a country where ambient temps are regularly over 35c and/or pushing the CX 500 to its limits I personally wouldn't be replacing it.
To put in context your rig with a 960 installed would not hit above 300w power draw maxed out, thats around 60% max loadout on a cx500 ,which is barely stressing it at all.

Thanks for the link. I'll so more search.

So keeping this psu is ok? Beacause it's hard for me to afford a gpd and a psu right now. I'm not into hardware so my question is if psu burns out will more hardware gets damaged?

ok i got it. thanks for everything!! last questions. so regardless of the price is this a good card for my pc? or should i get another one that i can buy right now? or should i wait for an upcoming card?
