I have an i7 6700k @ the stock 4.0 ghz yet on full load in getting around 75-80+C
after about 8 minutes of a Cache,FPU, and CPU stress test my cores got to about 82C and I had to stop it...

These temps shouldnt be normal... I also was getting to around the same temperatures with my Hyper 212 Evo

And no I am not using the same thermal paste on this as I did the hyper 212 evo, im using the pre applied thermal paste on the h100i v2

(also its worth mentioning ever since I installed the h100i v2 sometimes my pc screen will turn black and I have to restart it, don't know whats causing it though, thought it was worth mentioning though.)

So it's in a be quiet purebase 600 and I just got the AIO

So first off, there were soldering points on the back of the motherboard interfering with the mounting bracket, making it so the cooler was spaced slightly further away from the CPU not giving good contact and causing the high temps

So I drilled some holes in the plastic mounting bracket and it fit on fine, removing the gap, and bringing the temps down to about 60C

However that doesn't explain the crashing on startup, could possibly be due to the heat. It hasn't crashed since I drilled the holes so I will assume that it is fixed, but will check back if it is still crashing after this!
