Hey I am in the process of building a system (actually done), thing is a small droplet of moisture fell onto the mobo. I haven't powered up yet. I figure I could just wait for it to dry, but was wondering if anyone knew a safe way to remove it without zapping the mobo out? I tried grounding myself out and using a finger, but I couldn't reach it. A cotton swab would do the trick, but I think it will shock the board.

Make sure that no power is plugged into the system - unplug the PSU. Then you can swab the the water off with a Q-tip. Better to let it dry completely! before you even think about pluggin power back into the system....

You could probably hose the thing down. As long as it's all dry when you plug it back in.

It wont as long as you touch the case with the swab in your hand before you touch the Mobo. Its the same as touching someone after you walk across carpet. When you feel the shock the charge is gone. If you really want to be safe then take a peice of speaker wire and shave about a foot of the insulation off one end and 6 inches off the other. Wrap the longest end around your finger or arm and the other around the iside of the case. Make sure itsnot plugged in. Then you wont be able to build a charge.
