H80i GT fan speeds automatically adjusting after installed Corsair Link

My fans keep adutomatically adjusting after installing Corsair link when it reaches a certain tempture and it's really fucking annoying. I'm playing CSGO and it reaches the tempture the fans go full blast then after it gets lowered it stops then full blast again when it reaches it. Can anyone help me fix this?

I tried uninstalling it for a 'fix' doesn't help. Dont know if there is other stuff I have to remove. But it's annoying when it keeps happening every other 2 minutes

After leaving speccy up to see when the fans would start going. It stays between 40/41 and then when it's a steady 41 they go up. It's so fucking annoying. Pleeassee someone help

Have you tried going into Corsair link and changing the fan profile settings?

I had the exact same problem with mine. I was finding that corsair link didn't actually change the fan settings after I had initially installed it. I ended up having to uninstall corsair link and change the USB header, then reinstall corsair link.

Once I actually had control over the fans I ended up just setting up a custom curve profile. Have a play around with the % fan speed for different temperatures and see what works for you.

I think I set mine up to run at 25% when it reaches 35 or 40 degrees, with the next step up in speed at 50 degrees.

You need to select the particular fan from the menu you see on the left. Provided it's all installed correctly it should be called H80i GT Cooler Fan.

Double click that fan to access the menu, and select the drop-down that I highlighted to change profiles.

All of your fans will be listed in the menu on the left that you can scroll through. I have dragged my fans onto the image of the case to give a visual layout of my fans

1. Open Corsair LINK
2. Choose "Configure" in the upper menu
3. Click on the box saying "H80iGT Fan"

Once you have oped the "Configure Fan" window, choose the mode "Custom", and you will be able to set the fan-speeds yourself. My settings for a non-overclocked Intel i7 4790k:
1) 30'C: 30%
2) 40'C: 40%
3) 48'C: 59%
4) 55'C: 70%
5) 65'C: 82%
6) 81'C: 90%

This helps, if you don't want your PC to sound like a chopper whenever you put the PC under load.

EDIT: CPU temperature reaches maximum 65'C under load.
