I met someone at a previous job that employs an entire tech company to do his bidding. I think he or one of his lackeys are hackers and may have some sort of scripts or other sneaky software on my devices.

I've had weird things happening across my android devices and windows 10 machines since I met these particular people that have never happened to me before...

Web cams turning on for no reason, mouse speed changing in the middle of use, keyboard key presses do not always work, peripherals randomly disconnect, wireless networks randomly disconnect, the mouse cursor has moved on its own before or frequently becomes laggy or even totally unresponsive. It all seems like someone is controlling or interrupting/interfering with input/output and maybe even over-loading the system to burn resources.

It's not the peripherals they have been replaced many times. It's not the devices, they have been replaced many times. It's not O/S updates or other software updates. Those things have all been ruled out. Nothing I do or use or try seems to figure out why my devices have acted this way and I can't get the thought it's all hacked out of my mind.

NONE of the MANY security software on the market have detected ANYTHING that could explain the messed up behavior. I've tried system monitors to try and view every little single thing the system does every single mili-second and still can't find the problem.

My question is, is it possible for these individuals to sneak some sort of code/scripts/malware/other shady software/spyware/hackerware, back-door or whatever, onto my machine without being detected by me or multiple security software if they wanted to? And if so how would I go about finding it and removing it?

This has been going on for a long time and I'm desperately trying to figure out how to identify the cause.

If this is actually happening.....Full wipe and reinstall.
OS and everything else.

I've replaced the devices before. It's like I'm being targeted by this individual(s) even if I replaced the whole computer, it will work normally for a couple of weeks and then start acting hacked. Security software isn't catching the cause though.

I might be a little behind the times, but I went to school for computers and I'm not trolling or stupid ok? (I love the "IF this is happening" part LOL)
This is weird stuff going on. I think someone I worked with in the past has some kind of personal hacker vendetta and is trying to see how long they can screw around before they get caught. I want to catch them.

Of course that's speculation.
I'd like someone who is a little more caught up than I am to tell me if that's even possible and what level of software would be required to accomplish it.
The computer behavior though, oh yeah, it's happening!

There are only a very few ways for this to happen...

  1. They have physical access to your system
  2. Something you downloaded and installed
  3. Your online accounts are compromised

Tell me more about the third you listed.
I can understand how a compromised online account could result in data loss or a financial attack. Whatever this is, could possibly be some kind of direct control. Can software like that be installed through the net without being downloaded and installed? I've been really careful not to download much of anything on this newest machine (It's my third one trying to get away from these kinds of problems)

Possibly router access?
