Hairspray and electronics?

This is sort of an odd question, but does anyone know whether using hairspray in a room with electronics (more specifically a PC) could cause any damage to its components over time?

The reason I ask is that my wife often gets ready in the morning in our small spare bedroom, which also happens to be my computer room. She also uses a LOT of hairspray, to the extent where if I touch certain items in the room I can smell hairspray on my hands afterwards. I am just curious whether hairspray would get sucked into any components and build up over time, or will it simply evaporate and leave nothing but a temporary smell?

I don't think it would go over well if I told her to stop using hairspray or to get ready somewhere else, but I am still interested to know what effects, if any, it might have on my PC.

Since the main job of hair spray is to make hair stick together, it will do the same thing to dust and cause dust to bind to surfaces which is going to make things more difficult to clean. More dust in fans will reduce airflow, more dust on heatsinks will reduce heat transfer efficiency.
