Hello,
I actively use the task view button to switch between applications. There is a shortcut key for this on the mouse I use, and when I press the key, the image appears half distorted as you can see in the attachment. Actually, everything was normal until 1-2 days ago. When I thought about the possible options that came to my mind, I couldn't find a logical reason. As of now, my computer has been newly formatted, all updates (bios and system) have been made, and all necessary drivers have been installed. Maybe an unnecessary detail, but my graphics card is also new and was purchased a few months ago. By the way, there is no abnormality in normal use, but it is annoying that a function I use all the time displays such a distorted image.

What should I do about this? Thanks a lot in advance.

likely if a fresh OS install and reinstallation of the mouse control software hasn't corrected the issue then it is just an issue with the mouse itself.

TaskView isn't an executable they can shortcut to, so the mouse must have some built-in script for opening TaskView.
contact the manufacturer and see if they can provide instructions for formatting the mouse's embedded actions and reapplying, maybe through firmware reinstallation/updates/etc.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Consider corrupted files.

Run "dism" and "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-scannow-to-repair-windows-system-files-2626161

If the problem continues:

Check Update History for any failed or problem updates.

Manually download, reinstall, and reconfigure the mouse drivers directly from the manufacturer's website. No third party tools or installers.

Do the same for the GPU's drivers.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?

History of heavy use for gaming or video editing?

How full is that Samsugn 980 Pro 500 GB drive?

Make and model monitor?

Results of "dism" and "sfc /scannow"?

PSU: corsair rm1200x shift, original, 09.2023

Use case: no editing. Just for gaming. i don’t think i can be considered as a heavy gamer. Cause i don’t have time for it. But when i have, yes i use it for gaming like maybe 3-4 hours

HARD DRIVE: my 980 pro is %80 empty. i use my other drives to install games. i have 3 other drives for my games

Monitör: acer predator x27 (i bought it as used and not sure about production date. But it has no other flaws other than this case)

DISM results

C:\Windows\system32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool

Version: 10.0.19041.3636

Image Version: 10.0.19045.5073

No component store corruption detected.

The operation completed successfully.

sfc /scannow

i also ran “sfc /scannow” but it gave me 1225 pages long results. i don’t think it’s necessary to paste is here.

1225 pages???

Pages or "entries"

Here are the results from my system:

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22631.4317]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

C:\Windows\System32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

C:\Windows\System32>

Not sure, no idea, (full disclosure) what happened when you ran "sfc /scannow".

Look in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Do either or both tools show lots of errors, etc.?

Is what you are seeing similar to what is presented in the following link?

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/t...es-roles/analyze-sfc-program-log-file-entries

Agree: no need to paste in the full results.

However, just copy and paste a few representative lines of what was logged.
