Question Half my monitor is frozen or tearing at high refresh rates ?

I am having an issue with my AOC 27g2g4 monitor, when I have it set to high refresh rates is gets very bad screen tearing and the bottom half is frozen. These issues occurs until I put the monitor to 75Hz, at 144 it's the worst and at 120Hz there is a line under the task bar 144hz

What GPU are you working with to tether to the display? GTX1660 Super...What driver version are you working with for said discrete GPU? BIOS version for your motherboard? OS version? Make and model of your PSU and it's age? Have you tried using Nvidia's control panel to tinker with refresh rates and enabling G-Sync?

The card is an MSI 1660 super running driver version 497.29, Bios is American Megatrends inc. P2.00, 9/9/2020. The PSU is a Thermal take smart series 500w.
And yes I have tried to tweak it with Nvidia control panel with no success but to be frank I'm pretty new to pc stuff so I may not be tweaking the correct things.
