I was just thinking the same thing. I'm really impressed with you guys in this forum given all the propaganda floating around concerning Iran and the middle east. You definitely earned my deepest respect.

There's good and bad in all cultures... I feel in the UK we're constantly having to bow down to Islamic opinion.... if the Islamic community doesnt like something that's traditionally British, it usually gets scrapped, and bit by bit our British heritage is being taken away from us by people wishing to enforce their own culture on us at every possible opportunity.
Of course, not all those who follow the Islamic faith have such motives but the country has become a Politically Correct Nanny State! We have embraced Islam in the UK as something that we cannot change, and have no intention of doing... but Islam has come to the UK with the intent to change and it currently is doing.
One English town a few years ago had voted in a Muslim Mayor... and that town didnt celebrate Christmas, simply because it wasnt in Muslim interests. I wouldnt mind hearing what other people think about the topic.

I'd bet you a million bazillion dollars, that its either sunni's or wahabi's who are propagating it, btw wahabi's are extremists, who believe in Islam to the extent that, they would [for the most part] force others onto it, if given the chance...sunni's on the other hand have begun to embrace this wahabism to the extreme sense, and never before supported it in such large numbers globally speaking...all of that however isn't good...but what are you going to do about it?

some of the crud that goes on in england is unreal sometimes. Its a clichee but political correctness seems way out of hand. A trip to mainland europe for any length of time shows they dont go in for this nearly as much as we do. Personally i think the people at fault are the guilt ridden middle class, fussing around the middle ranks of society being bosey and flapping their mouths too much, while fealing guilty about being affluent and trying to 'give something back' but making an arse out of it. Bloody guardian and independent readers are just as bad as the daily mail crowd. Both polarised, both as dogmatic as each other, both totally humourless. The same people who think 'the constant gardener' was a brilliant film and not the hammy, self-indulgent misty eyed, desperately trying to be trendy utter crap I thought it was.
