hard disk drive failure, cannot boot?

I decided to clean my computer last night and when i put everything back together, i tried to boot and was welcome with text that saod "Hard disk drive failure" so pressed f1 and it said that it cannot boot, what is wrong?

Check that the hard drive is plugged in properly - power and data, both ends. You probably bumped it while cleaning.

I actually had not noticed that one of the cords got unplugged idk how but it happened, thank you !!
