P proudnana Reputable Oct 26, 2014 1 0 4,510 Oct 26, 2014 #1 I turned on my laptop and it shows a Hard Disk Error. I ran all the tests in System Diagnostics and the Hard Disk Error showed it Passed. However, I cannot get further than the laptop showing Hard Disk Error. Any help?

Solution SuperSoph_WD Oct 27, 2014 Hey there, proudnana! Can you access BIOS and see if the drive is registered there? What you can do is put the Windows Installation disc/media and change the boot order in the BIOS to boot from it.
