[SOLVED] Hard drive accessible but files in drive inaccessible

So from time to time whatever runs on my D drive will freeze and quit unexpectedly. After that happens, I can still open D drive and navigate to any paths. However, whenever I try to open one of the files it would say that the file is corrupted. Restarting fixes the issue. I would like to know if this is more of a motherboard problem or a M.2 hard drive problem.

Sounds like a wimdows issuse run cmd as admin, type sfc /scannow

I would think this is a hardware issue simply because I reinstalled windows and the issue exists in both installations.

Turns out it was a PSU problem. The graphics card seems to draw too much power through the PCIE slot and the PSU is unable to provide enough power to the m.2 slots.
