Question Hard drive is beeping on start up.

Hey guys,

My hard drive just decided to stop working one morning, instead of turning on a beeping noise can be heard twice before it sends me to the UEFI on the computer. I've tried googling the problem and saw that the common cause is the head getting stuck on the platter inside the hard drive. Thus I tried opening up the hard drive in a clean room and found everything to be in working order. Nothing else pops up for this specific problem for hard drives. I was just wondering if there is another underlying cause or if the hard drives just done for and I need to get a fresh one?

Its not easy repairing a hard drive and most of them cant be repaired. You should probably just get a new HDD...

You have access to a clean room? The drive is most likely dead.

I might be ignorant but your hard drive has a speaker? Is it possible the beeping sound is coming from your motherboard?
