hard drive problem

hi there, i have some problem with my external hard drive, when i play some video in my hard drive, it seem like it hang or stuck, i already done hard disk check and already repair it a few time, but it seem still have same problem..have any solution or suggestion like software for me how to fix this problem,,..?

What have you tried so far? Was it "chkdsk" and what were the results?
I'd recommend that you backup all of your important data right away, just to be on the safe side. After that I'd suggest that you try the drive with a different computer and a different USB cable (preferably shorter than 12"), to see if you still have the same problem. Other than that, go ahead and download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool and test the drive for errors and bad sectors, to see if anything out of the ordinary pops-up.
