Hard drive replacement

Hello,
I am trying to replace my hard drive from my HP dv6406 laptop...hard drive is sata 7pins on one side...15 on other ...can I use any sata drive to replace? Current one is 160 gb thinking about replacing it with this one...Seagate 320GB Momentus 2.5" Internal SATA Laptop Hard Drive

look for 2.5 inch sata drives. 3.5 inch is used in desktops

Yes, any sata 2.5 inch drive will work -- the 7 pin is data and the 15 pin power just like a desktop drive.
