I'm at a lost point right now and realize I'm not going to get anywhere by myself anymore so I'm asking for help here.

My issue stands in the hard freezes I've been getting for the past month or two.
The freeze happens randomly, but usually while gaming.
It doesn't happen during games like Witcher 3 that will run steadily on ultra settings, but will during games like CSGO or PUBG within the first hour or two of playing.
For whatever reason CSGO seems to make the freeze happen most consistently and fastest.
By hard freeze I mean my computer display completely freezing, my USB devices all turn off ?(razer keyboard lights - off, headset audible pop that happens when i shut off or restart my computer) but the machine keeps running, or at least appears to be.
Not a BSOD and there is no sort of sound associated with crashes.
To get it back into operational state I have to shut it off by hand and boot it back up, it wont go back into operational use even when left for several hours.
No .dmp files created, keep checking and none were.

My specs (all stock settings):
Motherboard: SABERTOOTH Z170 MARK 1
Processor: i7 6700k
Cooler: Corsair H100i
Ram: DDR4 Corsair Vengence LPX @ 2400mhz (4x8gb)
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 980Ti Hybrid
Power Supply: Corsair HX850i

The rig was built around 10 months ago, asides from the PSU which I installed just a few days ago, assuming my old one was faulty (was used for 7-10 years).
All parts purchased at MemoryExpress in manufacturers boxes.
With that said there is time limited warranties on the items.

What I've done so far:
Replaced PSU for the new HX850i
Checked temperatures using HWmonitor, CPU temps are cool during operation, during Prime95 peaks at 60-70C. GPU temps seem normal to me too, nothing higher than 50-60C during high load.
Ram was checked using memtest86 , no errors. (will run again tomorrow or tonight just to be sure)
Have ran Prime95 continuously with no errors. (going to run it for another 24, hopefully, right now)
Sfc /scannow finds nothing.
Kaspersky AV full scan finds nothing.
I've checked my drivers and all of them seem to be up to date.
Reformatted windows several times but it still happens as soon as I play CSGO.
(I don't even install anything else asides from all the required drivers and Steam to run it, CSGO directly off HDD)
Followed a bunch of "Solve windows freezing guides" telling me to change power plan settings etc.
Checked reliability history. All it says after I reboot is this:
"The previous system shutdown at 4:14:51 PM on ‎9/‎4/‎2017 was unexpected."

I honestly have no clue what this could be anymore.
Is it software? Hardware? If so, which piece of hardware is most likely?
Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for any responses, they are greatly appreciated.

You think so?
Prime95 has successfully been able to run for 16-ish hours, no errors, no high temperatures, good performace.
I'm willing to give it a try but am currently in processing my graphics card RMA. If it comes back and issue still exists I will move onto RMA'ing my MOBO and Processor with no other choice..
