Amen!!! The K8M800 chipset is a total piece of crap. Unfortunately, you can't buy any AMD uATX with AGP without a VIA chipset. SIS and UMC are also pieces of garbage.

PowMax power supplies are probably the worst products on the market, but they don't always go under their own name. Budget builders, such as most mom and pop shops, catch on to the name of one bad product but never seem to learn their lesson. They buy a dozen $15 PowMax units and start to see failures, so the buy a dozen $15 Brand X power supplies and unexpectedly get the same thing. And rather than stop there, they buy a dozen $15 Brand Y power supplies...and so forth and so on...all made by PowMax.

Every 2nd or 3rd SiS chipset is a good product, and they actually TELL motherboard companies which ones are good and which are simply cheap. The problem is, motherboard companies don't care, because motherboard companies don't think you, the buyer, are listening.

From my own experience:

ASUS P4S800
Problems:
- officially supports DDR400 but cannot run more than one stick at that speed. Add a second one and the whole thing drops at DDR333. Manually setting the speed back to DDR400 makes the computer not be able to even POST.
- supports AGP 8X but only the 1,5V version. Add a modern (0,8V) AGP card and it will only be stable at AGP 4X. What the crap.
- Bad layout makes very difficult to install a larger video card (such as the X800XL); I had to trim the latches on the ram with a nail clipper so that the card would fit.

Radeon 9600SE
Problems:
- crippled with a 64-bit architecture, this card has less than half the speed of the vanilla 9600. It stinks and you can smell it from far away.

Any ATI SE (Stupid Edition) boards. Neutered worthless crap.
