Other than it catching the dust inside the mesh and ruining the look (not to mention cleaning it afterwards), there are no issues using it.Is there any reason that I shouldn’t use these inside the computer?
I have a few thermaltake power supplies that used it. It does act like a dust magnet if you have a lot of air flow in the case, but otherwise is just fine.By sleeves, I mean something like this - just a very simple loom over the cables to make them tidier. Is there any reason that I shouldn’t use these inside the computer?
Thanks! I am trying to avoid extensions so I think I will sleeve them instead.I have a few thermaltake power supplies that used it. It does act like a dust magnet if you have a lot of air flow in the case, but otherwise is just fine.
Yes, I sleeved an old Seasonic PSU with exposed wires using Megamide. Easy enough to apply if you get the diameter right, otherwise it might get stuck on SATA or Molex connectors. It's easy to snag the open weave on sharp corners inside a computer case and snap a few strands. I've also used it to tidy up cable looms in 19 inch rack builds. Is there any reason that I shouldn’t use these inside the computer?
