Has crime risen since Obama became President

I am thinking lately has crime increased since President Obama became the leader of the U.S.?

Come to Vermont our gun laws are extremely loose. We also have some of the lowest crime rates in the country but... we are also borderline socialist with a very good healthcare and more importantly mental healthcare services.

Your state is also very small indeed compared to the big states like NY , Ca. and other metropolitan cities where crime is increasing a lot now.
