Good evening,
I've just ordered after much research the following items for a new PC build (excluding the GPU 'RTX 2080ti' as I already own this and the tower) and I was wondering if I'd spent my money wisely? I was torn between Intel and AMD - like lots of people I'm sure.
So, have I spent my money wisely for an Intel build or would I get better value/performance for money going with AMD? I'm not looking to upgrade my GPU anytime soon and I am not too fussed about PCIe 4.0 (although the MB supports PCIe 4.0 if using an 11th Gen CPU with a BIOS update or so I'm lead to believe).
Intel i7 10700K £274.94
Asus Prime Z490 A £209.99
Corsair Vengeante 32GB x2 DDR4 3600MHz C18 £174.26
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 £135.54
And lots of Corsair RGB fans, Aio CPU coolers and controllers
Thanks in advance for your help/advise.
