have windows 8, but its a work computer, should i get win7 instead?

Hey the computer is only going to run a work related program (don't need all that fancy app stuff and whatnot win 8 has), but its running windows 8.1. would it be better to switch to windows 7, or is it a waste of money

Why switch? There's nothing wrong with keeping 8.1

Ask yourself what you stand to gain by purchasing Windows 7. What's the value in doing so?
