Having a hard time with java. Error 1603

Ok, So I was trying to play one of my games and it required for me to up date my java to 8. I uninstall my java 7 manual and attempted to install the windows 8 offline 64 bit and i keep getting the same error. error 1603. Ive been sitting here like an idiot looking for ways to fix it but there is almost none i could find. I have a 64 bit computer yet i can only run 32 bit.

So what exactly is the problem? Most games are still 32bit and so require 32bit java! The error 1603 point in a totally different direction: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/834484

Thank you for your query. We will surely help you with this issue.

Use the Java Removal Tool available here to automatically delete all uninstall entries, program files and settings stored by Java application on to your computer. Restart the PC and download Java again. This should help.
