Question Having issues with a relatively new monitor: LG 27GR83Q

I've been having a issue in the last two days of using my computer, in relation to my one of my monitors seemingly shutting down once or twice a day now. What will happen is my fans on my computer will start running fast, and then after roughly 5-10 seconds, my newer, LG 27GR83Q monitor will shut down. This has happened while I was playing games, and it has also happened when on low level browsing of social media with nothing intensive running as well. On the several times it has occurred, when I try to turn the monitor back on, it will stay on for a few seconds, and then proceed to shut down like before. However, if I adjust the DisplayPort or Power cables at the back of my monitor, it appears to fix the issue for a few hours or so, but will always reoccur some time later. I wasn't able to get a great video, but this imgur should show what it is like right before it shuts down: View: https://imgur.com/a/TQcDkek
. I have owned this monitor for roughly a year, but started using it 6-7 months ago, a few days after I set up my new computer system. The only other issue I've had that could be related is that sometimes when the computer came off sleep, it seemed to take a while for keystrokes to load into the screen a few seconds after turning back on, but this might be an unrelated issue. Is this related to the wires of my computer, or is the issue somewhere else? I tried reconnecting the wires connecting the PC to the monitor on both ends, but it hasn't led to a permanent solution.

RMA the monitor. Since whatever it's issue is, it falls under warranty.

If all your monitors would shut off at the same moment, then issue would be with PC (GPU). But if it is the only one behaving such, RMA it.

I'll make an attempt tomorrow morning when the support comes online, but my worry is I received this monitor a bit longer than a year ago, and the warranty is only for a year. I did look up and see that my credit card I purchased it with might have an extended warranty up to two years, so I might be able to get my money back at least.
