having trouble viewing downloaded vidoes

the mega pack has more codecs then the full version, I don't understand why your codecs are not registering.

what kind of video file did you used to see that now you don't?

ok right now what happens when you try to play a wmv that you used to play fine?

the video box stays black and i hear the sound perfectly. There is no video period.

ok in the start menu under klite codec pack> tools>here you see gspot.

open gspot and put this wmv file inthere and hit render and see what it says, if you can give me a screen shot after its done redering that would be great.

btw what player opens to play this wmv with no video?

no this is one of the ones that I just downloaded and couldnt get to run but I still ran another ign video which used to work on this rendering thing and it didnt work either but I only SS this one.

ok well this one is not a true wmv, as you see gspot is telling you that the codecs for this file are not known.

lets choose a file you have viewed alot of times to be sure that first your files will play then we will get to how you got this one that just has noise.

they all have noise only no video shows up on any of them even the ones that used to work.

ok grab one of those and put it in gspot and lets get see the screen shot.

btw remember to use the very last link in imageshack not the one before last.

in otherwords use the "direct link to image" link 😉
