"HD 5770 or GTX 460" on a 500w PSU

So guyz, i have a few questions ... i'm about to buy a new video card and can't decide between the Radeon HD 5770 or the Geforce GTX 460 .... which one would u recommend ... ? I play on a 20 inch monitor at 1680 x 1050 and would like play the DX11 titles ...

Also, IF i buy the GTX 460, would it run on this PSU :

The 460 only needs about 160w so you should be fine with that PSU and a molex to 6 pin adapter.

Well at that resolution, shouldn't the GTX be better ...

The HD5770 will be good and the GTX 460 will be great. At stock the 768mb GTX 460 is approximately 20-25% better than HD5770 at 1680x1050. If that is worth the extra $50 to you then go for it; if not the HD5770 is still a good choice.

I say go with the 460! My previous card was a 5770, and although it's a great card it's less future proof than a 460. =)

Yeah, a 500w of a good brand(and Silverstone is good) is more than enough for a GTX 460, even fully overclocked.
