HD 6870 Too Loud

Hello,

I have a HD 6870 that’s making my computer sound like a vacuum cleaner. I was looking at ways to quiet this down. I’ve found a Zalman VF3000A and an Arctic Accelero S1 Plus Turbo.

I’m wondering if one cooler is better than the other and how what kind of noise reduction can I expect, half as loud?

I’m not a gammer, I use my machine primarily for 3D design with SolidWorks. But this noise is killing me.

Not sure how much your 3D Applications stress your card, but you could try reducing your fan speeds to quiten your system.
