Hello everyone

i recently purchased a AMD Radeon HD 7870 GPU

- the one with the red and black case and only one fan

i was going to overclock this GPU in the future
but as of now when i play intensive games it goes up to 50°C

so i was wondering is there a GPU case/cooler that i can purchase that will replace the current
case and cooler

essential requirements
- Cooler GPU

possible requirements
-quieter
-maybe more dust resistant

i hoping for something maybe £15

i would also like a discussion about how to properly overclock a 7870
maybe from a professional or someone that has overclocked a 7870 before

compared to the stock fan it doesn't really seem like a upgrade i wanted something that would fit over the whole case and had multiple fans like the gigabyte HD 7870

As far as I know, 50C is a pretty good temp. It's when you start to hit the high 70s that you can start to worry.

As for aftermarket cooling solutions, Arctic Cooling all but has the market cornered on that one. They make good products.

had a look and it seem arctic cooling product are quite expensive
was wondering if there were any lesser know products that do the same but cheaper?

You do not need one, 50c is great. If you need to ask how to overclock with out having your own suggestions you need to read a guide. You need to have a general idea before you ask the huge internet.
