Hi, I had a 40gb HD splitted in C and D. C contained windows and D was for
downloads and data, etc. I installed a new 200gb HD, but when i tried to copy
the content of my D drive into C or the new HD with windows it wouldn't let
me. I could only see one file and the rest wouldn't show up. I ran norton
system works and helped me to see the files, but I could still not move or
copy them. After running several norton system works tasks I was able to
copy some pictures and documents, and just a few videos. Norton did
something about file indexes and I dunno what else if it is of any help to
you. There are still lots of pictures and documents I would like to retrieve.
Any ideas?
I also ran diskcheck, but it gets stuck at 10% of the 4th step out of 5. I
left my computer running the whole night.
I have sp1 on the C drive, and SP2 on the new HD.
Thanks a lot,
Jose

You need to use the software which came with the new drive to copy
everything to the new drive.
