HD won’t remove- Cyberpowered PC

I am having trouble getting my HD out of my new Cyberpowered PC. I am replacing it with a SSD. It is stuck on this metal bit here, it should slide out but this is keeping it in. Any ideas on how to remove?

Updated- it’s some sort of screw on its side.

Updated- after wedgeing a screw driver into the slot and sliding the HD back and forth I was able to get it out.

It doesn't look like it even belongs there.

I wish I knew, it’s not connect d to anything I can spin it around, the HD will come out about an inch then that gets stuck on it. Because of where it is, smooshed at the front of the case I can’t get to it easily. I tried pulling it out but it had just enough width that I can’t easily knock it out. Before I got too crazy o wanted to make sure it wasn’t important?

I can't imagine a good reason for that being there.

I've never seen anything like "that" that was important.

It looks like it's wedged in there...do you think you can just pull it out?

It is kind of beveled so it won’t come all the way out from what I can see I tried tipping the case over also. It’s driving me bonkers

I see from the other side now it is some kind of screw on its side, don’t know how I’m going to get it out now. Added photo to OP.

I was getting ready to, I decided to try to use my screw driver to pry it as I jiggled the HD in and out and it finally came out. Thanks for the help, glad it wasn’t something important o was worried it was some new kind of “lock” to hold the HD in and I was going to break it messing with it!

One little screw being stuck, an hour worth of headaches lol
