Wondering if it is possible to a existing 1tb HDD and swap for a new SSD.

Thinking of restoring my laptop...er...(notebook since its huge and heavy) to factory setting and making the restore discs. I know I should've made the restore disc when I purchased the notebook....but I didn't because I couldn't wait to play on it ^_~

Do the existing hard drive have to match the SSD I want to put in? So like, 1TB HDD = 1TB SSD? Can i just put in whatever desired hard drive i want to swap?

If you could explain just a little bit more? I'm glad that I won't have to buy a 1tb ssd X_X.

Does this mean I can use any desire SSD size that will be compatible to using my restore discs?

ekk! I don't think i need that much* =/ I was thinking of using a a low gb sdd as a "boot drive" and a second as a ssd or hdd

yes, assuming the ssd is bigger than what you are restoring
