HDD Cages and cooling

Hi, I have an Antec 902 v3 which has two HDD cages, each with 3 bays and an intake fan each.

I was wondering what is the best possible solution to install two HHDs here to improve airflow.

1) One in each cage.
2) The two in the same cage (in this case, I can put an extra fan inside the other cage if I decide to buy one).

For airflow, one in each cage. Two in one cage will obstruct the total flow more. But it won't make much of a difference.
