Hello, I recently installed a new SSD in my PC and did a clean install of windows 10 on it. My 1TB hard drive that was my old primary boot drive is nearly full so I cannot do a full clone of the hard drive.
I'm having an extremely tough time trying to figure out how I can launch my programs that are installed on my 1TB hard drive, is there any way i can just create a shortcut for programs that are installed on that hard drive, and have them work even though my SSD is the new primary drive? It still says they are installed under the old drive, so why can't windows find the programs if I try to launch them from a new shortcut I created? Like if i go into file explorer, find a program on my old hard drive, click create shortcut, and try to launch it from the desktop on my SSD, windows will say the file does not exist, or something of that matter. So is there any way I can fix this without completely wiping my computer? I've got lots of data I would really like to keep. Thanks!
