Hello everyone, sorry...
I'm new here.
Hope I I can get the answer.

I have an unallocated hdd problem, but I also want the files inside that have been deleted and are still stored in MFT, I can retrieve them but how do I want them to be lost or unopenable.
If it can disappear without being found by the recovery software, how can I do that?
I have searched, some of the questions here, but have not found a solution.
This question must have been a lot, have any of you actually solved it?
Please help, I'm really worried about my old files. Sensitive data and some passwords are inside, personal data files and many others.
Thank you, I really hope for your help and assistance.

Is this a spinning hard drive, or an SSD?

If an actual hard drive, DBAN.

DBAN is free. That will do the function you need.

I'm sorry sir, I'd like to take a moment of your time.
DBAN, on its website there are two options.
If I use the downloaded one but there are many crosses and if I use the free trial, will I be asked to pay later if I stop.
Sorry again.

"Which download is Best for You"?

Select the one on the left. It is sufficient for your needs.
I've personally used it.

Ok sir,
If for example I can eliminate without being able to recover.
I have to choose which one, I find out about the application, it turns out that there are options for wiping data such as
Dod, dodshort, guntman and quick.
The problem is that this computer is for me to work
How long does it take if the hdd is 2 TB?
Sorry about the other thread, I commented before.

It depends on your choice of the overwrite method. Random Data, DoD. Gutman and what the other choices your given.

It also depends on how many overwrites you choose.

On a 2Tb hard drive I like to start in the afternoon and let it run all night. By the time I'm ready for a cup of coffee the next morning the drive is ready for me to take back over.

You can speed up the time by having a fan blow on the drive while your nuking data as they get HOT.

Not sure what you mean by this.

The longer you wait to start the process, the longer it will take.
I used the computer for work that I wanted to delete data from.
I also read the comments on the dban download website. They have trouble installing, the usb doesn't open, and some can't uninstall when they're not using it.
And Sorry, I didn't include that my HDD is also unallocated.
You have any problems sir with DBAN?

User problems are generally due to the user.
I've never had an issue.

Do you use this app too?
I still don't know how to use it.
How to install it?
Usb bootable, what does that mean?
Is the usb empty and how many Gigabytes? Thanks

What is the future use for this drive?

Keep and use?
Sell it?
If possible, I want it to be completely removed.
If it can be used or sold, I might do it later. If sold, I'm afraid that personal work data will be taken, we don't know what will happen.
.
If there is software that provides options, which folders or files to delete, that's also better, so that it doesn't take long to delete.

For example, documents, photos or personal data, we choose to delete photos or personal data so we don't have to delete anything else. We can choose to destroy without recovering.

You only need to overwrite your data once. No spy agency will be able to recover anything afterward.
So, I use this hdd for daily needs, work and others.
Now there is data inside, from deleted, already deleted, and not deleted, which is stored in memory.
HDD memory file, MFT file after deleted.
I want to get rid of some of them.
If there is an option from the software, which one we can delete or overwrite files.
Obviously this is an easier process. Unfortunately I don't understand the working system of wipe, erase, removed and destroyed.
I was hoping to eliminate files and not be able to be searched or recovered.
That's it.

Ccleaner has a wipe free space/wipe drive option see if that fits.

Full Format in File Explorer.
All will be gone.
