I know that the only difference between the 2 HDD is Caviar Black has a spin speed of (7200) and green caviar has a spin speed of (5400) (men sina 1 TB Bigger simply the Black Caviar)

The black drive is WD's performance model and the green is their power saving model. with the green, they sacrifice performance.
Black is better.
