I'm going to need a new pc soon.
first i thought of buying a current gen then i saw Z890 is i the market but i couldn't find a official News about budget cpu and chipset like h810 or b860 or even new core i3 (ultra 3)

all news regarding of such topic is at least 3 month old and its confusing.

is this generation going to have only those ultra 5-9 which is already on the market?
or
do intel release 3 and lower 5s like Nvidia 50 and 60 series after they released their flagship cards?
what would you guys suggest?
I'm not in hurry, but not familiar with the release of new CPU and chipset of previous generationi and iwould like to know how long will it take until we see those chip, if they are going to make them, on the market.

From a historical point of view, Intel releases new gen products at the high end first, and at about 15% price/performance.
Lower performing chips follow not too much later.
My guess might be 6 months later.

I3/5/7/9 no longer mean what they used to, namely how many cores and hyperthreading.

What price point are you thinking of?
Here is a guide to Intel processor names:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/processors/processor-numbers.html#editorialtable
Here is a list of processors. There are some chips lower than the current 265K
Namely the 245K which is not out yet:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...-24m-cache-up-to-5-20-ghz/specifications.html

If you are not in a hurry, it is good to wait.
New gen products may have early issues that will be fixed with bios updates

thanks 👍😊
so , basically it supposed to be on the market on February?
no i'm not in hurry, so i guess i should wait.
well, my budget is on budget or low tier segment. (not pentium, just i3) since i won't Play or do heavy stuff.
reason that made me think of waiting was that ultra 3 seems to have double amount of core as i3 of current generation. though i'm not sure if the price would be the same
