Hi all. My motherboard stopped working so I replaced it.

The original configuration was as follows:
2200G + MSI B350 Pro AC itx

I replaced the MSI board with an AsRock Fatal1ty B450 itx.

I run Windows 10 on this machine.

After the rebuild Windows started just fine, and as far as I can see, everything seems to work except that my second HDMI display does not switch on.

I have two displays, one connected to the Display Port, and the other to the HDMI port. It is the HDMI port that is not working.

I tried VGA driver uninstallation and reinstallation. Tried doing it in Safe Mode as well. But it's just not seeing the display.

I searched BIOS for an option to make the HDMI my primary output, but this doesn't seem to be available.

At this point I seem to have exhausted all my options except to reinstall Windows.

Is there anything more I can do? Appreciate any comments.

Reinstall chipset drivers.
Reinstall graphics drivers.

Is second screen being detected in Display Properties?

What video cables are you using? Any video cable adapters?

There are no bios settings regarding multiple monitors. Was hoping so. In the specifications page does mention separate controllers for using Hdmi and DP for multiple monitors. So should work.

I found this also,

Perhaps one of the cables is bad or causing a problem. I would suspect the DP cable, if 20th pin is connected, maybe doing something power wise to the system/ motherboard it's not supposed to. Trying to think of reasons why each cable would work on it's own but not together. Or what Skynet is querying about regarding any adapters or anything that is not normal.

Sorry perhaps I've been unclear. I have no problem with the DP port.

I have two displays. The one connected to the DP port works fine. The one connected to HDMI shows no response, whether the DP monitor is connected or no.

Thanks for the links. Let me try another cable and update shortly.

Tried reinstalling everything. Maybe something isn't being uninstalled cleanly.

Second screen is not detected.

Standard HDMI to HDMI cable, unbranded. I'll try switching the cable to something else and see if there is any improvement.

Oh thought Hdmi was working, DP not. Reread OP should have asked does Hdmi work if DP isn't connected. Yeah try another Hdmi cable.

And you should be seeing bios splash screen with either screen which is before Windows loads. That's a hint it ain't software/ drivers.

I don't see the splash screen when booting up when HDMI is the only cable plugged in. Tried different cables but no response. Seems I have a lemon of a board.

Unfortunately it was second hand, allegedly tested. Clearly I was conned.

I doubt I'll get my money back. Fortunately It wasn't much. I was in desperate and urgent need for an ITX board which would fit the case, and B450s are no longer easily found anyway. I got this within a couple of days after my older motherboard failed, which limited my downtime.

My main main objective was to get my PC working again, which I've now done, even though crippled.

I guess I will manage as is for the time being until I have thought about whether to pursue with the 2200G or go for something newer.

Really?
mITX cases usually allow at least one single slot low profile card to be installed.
Can you show a photo of rear side of your pc case?

It's a very small case. I specifically chose it for an APU build. Here are some photos from the manufacturer:
