I'm looking for a couple of things, really:
Firstly, I'd like to run an HDMI-in to my PC so that I can connect consoles etc. I considered just running them straight to the monitor and using an HDMI switcher, but I don't have sound on the monitor. Maybe there are better options, but it would be nice to be able to run them straight into the PC so there are also options for screen capture etc.
Secondly, I have a number of old and/or Japanese consoles (like a Nintendo 64DD) that requires NTSC-J support. These are either on composite RCA cables or simple RF coax. The problem I've been having is finding a card that supports NTSC-J and PAL so that I can also run the old UK hardware.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that I'll need one solution for the HDMI issue, one for the NTSC-J input, and another for the PAL input, all of which will probably make more sense outside of the PC, I'm sure (screen-cap would be great, but it's not essential).
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks
