I'm not sure if there are HDMI male and HDMI female ports. I don't have any of the media stuff so I can't seem to add an image of my Samsung - Odyssey Gaming CRG5 Series 24” LED.
Facebook wouldn't let me add a photo without turning into a post.
Devices have receptacles (female connectors). Cables have plugs (male connectors), which insert into the receptacles. The only cables that would have a receptacle are extension cables or certain adapters.
What is your question? Are you asking if there are HDMI male and female ports on the display panel's input/output end? If so, the ends on the GPU(or a motherboard/laptop with display output ports) are always FEMALE. As for the displays, they are also FEMALE. Why would you need a female to male connector? You're in need of a female-female HDMI connector/cable. As a side note, you're going to get all necessary cables in the box when you open up the display's packaging.
