[SOLVED] Header Question

So I'm planning on using a Corsair HXi series PSU, when I stumbled upon a review in PCPartpicker that mentions something (it's the first review on this page). The motherboard I'm using is the Asus Maximus Hero XII and the CPU will be the Intel i9-10900kf. Which CPU power is needed to power this set up? (I'm pretty new to PC building, so I apologize if I'm missing something obvious).
Do I need a special adapter if I plan to overclock this CPU?

for a single gpu I would recommand 650w. a quality 550w unit like yours would also suffice.

I'm sorry, I'm still a bit confused. This motherboard has a one 4 pin EPS/ATX and one 8 pin EPS/ATX...I thought these plugged into the motherboard, not GPU?

either plug in the 24 pin (right side motherboard) and the 8 pin cpu ets pin(top left) or the 8 and the 4 pin top left.
I recommand option 1.

you have got PCI-E connectors for the grapics card.

But the Corsair HXi 850 doesn't come with a 8 pin plugin, only two 4 + 4 plugins.

the 4+4 cables look like the picture below. and can be inserted into the 8pin unit.

Ooooh....and is this enough to overclock an i9-10900kf? Or should I get some sort of adapter?

adapters and powersupplies are in general a bad idea.
if the powerspply does not have a cable. it doesnt have that for a reason.(hint because its not supported).
