So I'm very, very surface level when it comes to audiophile but since my corsair virtuoso dongle died, my next headphones will be a beginners studio setup. I have an external mic on a boom arm so this would be purely headphones.
My first question would be, what cable is coming off of these headphones?

Those are the headphones I was planning on getting, but I'm thinking I'm gonna need an AMP to utilize that cable. This is all for desktop setup, btw.

From what I've read, this is sufficient enough to run headphones without an amp.
So, if anyone has headphone recommendations up to ~$250 USD that I don't need an amp for, they'd be much appreciated. Other than that, if there's a pairing of AMP and headphones that also fall around that price mark, shoot 'em over. I was planning on using guitar center to purchase the stuff because I don't like waiting for shipping.

8 Channels * Due to limitations in HDA bandwidth, 32-Bit / 192 kHz is not supported for 8-Channel audio. |
