[SOLVED] Headphones not detected

Hello. I recently built my own pc with an MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS and I've ran into this problem. Whenever I connect any audio devices the system doesn't actually recognize them. I've tried this with many different headphones and I've also updated all drivers. I don't know if it's worth mentioning but I also have a USB device that acts as Bluetooth and have connected my airpods and they work perfectly fine. Could this be a motherboard problem or is it software related?

If this happens with the case jacks then check the motherboard connections to the case. If the issue happens with the ports on the motherboard itself make sure the jacks are configured for audio inputs and that you are using the right jacks.
