[SOLVED] Headphones won't connect to motherboard

I recently bought a pair of wireless headphone that comes with a charging station that has an optical port for me to plug into the back of my mobo (MSI B450 Pro Gaming Carbon), but I'm not getting a signal. It works when using AUX but so far nothing with optical, and I would like to have that secondary device just in case. It's not being picked up by MSI's Realtek Audio Console if that of any interest/concern.

Have you downloaded the latest audio driver for your motherboard from the MSI webpage for your motherboard?

Yeah, did so straight after when the headphones weren't working.

Do you have another optical cable you can try?

Yeah, just used another one then, no dice.

Hmm I’m out of ideas at the moment. Hopefully someone else has some better ones.

Nevermind sorted it out. I didn't realise that the 'Realtek Audio Output' was the optical device/connection.
