I have NO idea what to get... My X12's were great until the plastic cracked and the left earphone barely stays on my ear.

I wouldn't mind buying another pair of x12's if I didn't think they'd break again.

Well no offense, But Turtle Beach's are not that great, i personally had two pair's and both broke very quickly. The sound quality isnt too great as well as the mic. But anyways, IF you're using them for PC, i could recommend a few different pair's in different price ranges:

SteelSeries Siberia v2's (very popular): $100

Logitech G430 Surround Sound Gaming Headset with Dolby 7.1 Technology: $75

Sennheiser 360's or 350's (360's are open headphones, meaning sound will leak, and 350's are closed meaning nothing will leak): These are very high quality headphones, with great sound quality, mic quality, and great durability. 350 price: $202
360 price: $249

Honestly, in my opinion, anything is better than Turtle Beach headphones. Astro's are OK. I don't think they are worth the price, and a few friends told me they are not too comfortable, But that could just be personal preference. I cannot use the Siberia v2's, they are too uncomfortable for me, but ALOT of people say they are the most comfortable headphones they ever used.
