my notebook is an ASUS N550JK. STOCK (except i switch the disk drive for a hdd with a caddy and use an SSD as main drive).
CPU RELATED SPECS:
Well basicly the thing is:
I recently started to feel like my notebook is getting unusally hot.
so i did a AIDA64 stress test and i got the results which were temperature 95 (c) on the CPU and
"(17% max )Thorttling - overheating detected"
so at this point i took apart my notebook cleaned it and reapplied the thermal paste, long story short i even changed both of the CPU fans to new ones. everything sprakling clean +new fans.
the thermal paste apliance i did is i guess mediocre, i redid it twice since on the first time i felt like ive put to little paste. ( still its clearly much better than it was done in the factory cause it was awful like someone put the paste and just squezed it with the cooling systems, and practicaly no paste on the gpu)
now im getting better temperature around 85 (c) and "(38% max )Thorttling - overheating detected"
so the thing is i still think that 85 is on the high spectrum of temperature, but i guess for a notebook its i guess expected.
BUT the main question is about the message "(38% max )Thorttling - overheating detected"
i dont fully understand the concept of Throttling, but i guess the lower % the better and ofcourse seeing red text is always a bad sign.
so ill appriciate some advice regarding what might be the issue and what can be done to prolong the health of my notebook.
