What specific problem or problems are occurring?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, used, refurbished)?

Disk drive(s): make, model, capacity, how full?

More information needed.

A drive showing seemingly perfect SMART data can die in the next 5 minutes.

You should always be prepared for total fail.

I had one drive (3TB WD Green) go from apparently perfect, to total dead, in about 36 hours.
It was 5 weeks off the store shelf.

Another, 14TB Toshiba Enterprise, went from zero issues to 14k+ bad sectors in a week.

Be prepared for total fail at any moment. Or all the other forms of data loss.
